KCAA Program Demo.

This was an important program demo at the Greater Kansas City Art Association.

Greg Sommers and I battled it out with same reference, using our two different styles.

Lots of banter between the two of us and tons of laughter.

I want to do it again!

Update on my painting at the St. Louis Artists' Collector's Choice XIII Event

Just wanted to tell you that my painting entered into the prestigious St. Louis Artists' Collector's Choice XIII Event was among the first to be auctioned on May 18th, 2014. This was a lovely honor!

Bio

Penny Pate Dillon has been involved in the arts all of her professional life. Penny Dillon is recognized throughout the United States and in Mexico for her colorful paintings.

Penny’s diverse art career includes everything from a classroom art teacher, art supervisor, commercial artist, fashion illustrator, and commission artist. Today Penny is a full-time studio painter, and loves every minute. Sharing her gift with others through painting, teaching, lectures, workshops, and commission assignments is her passion.

Penny has degrees in two areas of art: a Fine Art Degree from Washington University in St. Louis and an Art Education Degree from The University of Texas at El Paso. Her education also includes two years in the Kansas City Art Institute’s Commercial Art program. Every year she participates in invitational workshops to stay current with the trends in the art community. This allows her to adapt to her client base and gallery requirements.
